Virus and malware removal
Pop-ups, fake tech-support screens, a browser that keeps opening ads on its own. We clean the machine up, remove what does not belong, and set up antivirus so the same thing does not come back next week. Works on Windows and Mac.
A typical visit: one to two hours. We scan, remove, verify, and patch. If the infection is deep enough that a reinstall is faster than a clean, we tell you and either back up your files first or walk you through what to expect. Billed at $65 per hour with the $45 minimum.
Tune-ups
Your computer used to be fast and now it is not. We clear the junk that piles up over the years, uninstall the trial software you never asked for, check the drive for problems, and update the operating system and drivers. Simple work that makes an old machine feel new.
A typical visit: one hour, sometimes ninety minutes on a very slow machine. We are billed at $65 per hour with the $45 minimum. On a laptop we can also blow out the fans if they are noisy, which usually helps with heat and shutdowns.
Printer setup
New printer that will not connect. Old printer that stopped showing up on your laptop. Print job stuck in the queue. Printers are one of the most annoying things in home tech, and we spend a lot of time on them. We set up the driver, the Wi-Fi, and any phone or tablet you want it to work from.

Home networking
Wi-Fi that is fast in the living room and useless in the back bedroom. Guest network you never configured. A router the cable company sent you that could be better. We set up Wi-Fi that reaches every room, replace tired routers with something reliable, and install mesh systems or hardwired ethernet when the layout of the house calls for it.
A typical visit: one to two hours for a router swap or mesh install. Larger jobs with in-wall ethernet or coax runs are quoted before we start. Billed at $65 per hour with the $45 minimum.
Smart TV installation
We mount TVs on the wall and set them up so they actually work. That means a level mount, cables you cannot see, apps signed in, remote programmed, and streaming services running. We handle everything from small bedroom sets to 100-inch installs.
A typical visit: one to three hours depending on the wall type and how much cable management you want. Drywall is quick. Stone and brick take longer. We tell you the price before we start.
Apple and Mac help
We are comfortable in the Apple world. iCloud sign-in problems, migrating from an old Mac to a new one, Photos library trouble, iPhone-to-Mac airdrop that will not work, Mail that refuses to sync. If you use Macs, iPhones, and iPads together, we can make them all play nicely.

General device repair
Laptop that will not turn on. Desktop with a bad hard drive. iPhone with a cracked screen. Tablet that stopped charging. We diagnose the problem and either fix it in the house or, on the small handful of jobs that need a workbench, take it back and return it repaired. We tell you up front which category your device falls into.
A typical visit: one hour for a diagnosis. Repair time depends on the part. Parts are quoted before we order them.
General troubleshooting
Sometimes you just need a real person to sit down with you and help you figure out what is wrong. Email you cannot access. A password you forgot. An update that changed everything and now nothing looks right. We take our time, explain what we are doing, and leave you set up to keep going on your own.
